Recent reports revealed the reason why Prince George<\/strong> won’t be allowed to have a smartphone at Eton College and the outdated method he will use to stay in touch with his family.<\/p>\n

After it was confirmed that Prince William<\/strong> and Kate Middleton<\/strong>‘s firstborn is heading to Eton College in September, The Telegraph<\/a> reported that despite their students living at the school full-time, those from the first year are not allowed to have smartphones.<\/p>\n

The BBC<\/a> previously reported that this boys’ boarding school would provide first-year students, which George will be joining this fall, with ‘brick’ phones<\/strong> without internet access for them to communicate with their families through basic calls and texts.<\/p>\n
