Prince Harry<\/strong> will travel to London<\/strong> next week without Meghan Markle, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet<\/strong>, according to a report confirmed by PEOPLE on July 4, 2026. While the Duke of Sussex is expected to continue his scheduled visit to the United Kingdom, no final decision has been made on whether his wife and three children will join him later in the trip. It was reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had hoped to bring their two kids back to Britain for the first time since 2022, giving them the possibility to visit their dad\u2019s homecountry and reunite with King Charles.<\/p>\n

The family’s travel plans have long been affected by concerns about security in Britain. In a statement released on June 29, 2026, Prince Harry’s spokesperson said the main issue is proper security throughout the Sussexes\u2019 entire visit. Although King Charles reportedly offered accommodations on a royal estate, the security arrangements continue to be the main obstacle while the family stays in the country. Meanwhile, Prince Harry’s representatives said he continues to explore every available option to make the visit safe enough for Meghan and their children.<\/p>\n

The estranged royal has repeatedly said he does not believe it is safe for his family to visit the United Kingdom after losing publicly funded police protection in 2020.<\/p>\n
