Rachel Reid<\/strong> shared her thoughts about what the Heated Rivalry<\/strong> characters she created (Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov) would wear if they were invited to the Met Gala. During the \u201cAn Evening with Rachel Reid & Spotify\u201d event in New York City on May 13, the writer admitted she does not think the hockey duo would actually enjoy attending the fashion night. Reid joked that neither character would fit naturally into the glamorous atmosphere.<\/p>\n

Despite that, she explained that Shane would probably wear a classic suit he already owned, adding only a flashy pocket square to make it feel special for the occasion. Reid also imagined that Ilya would approach the event with something much louder and attention-grabbing, although she said his style probably would not match the event\u2019s theme. The author described Ilya as someone who would simply wear whatever he wanted without worrying about fashion rules. Finally, she said hockey players do not usually attend the Met Gala, so she could not imagine her characters in the event.<\/p>\n

Even though Shane and Ilya will probably never appear at the Met Gala in the Heated Rivalry series, the actors who portray them in the TV adaptation recently attended the fashion night.\u00a0 On May 4, Connor Storrie wore a custom Saint Laurent outfit featuring a sleeveless polka dot blouse and black trousers.
