On Sunday, May 10th, the Princess of Wales celebrated the 2026 Mother’s Day with a moving post on her Instagram<\/a> account, a video of the party she recently hosted in the gardens of Buckingham Palace, where she met with members of the Maternal Mental Health Alliance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

However, Karen Middleton’s words sparked disappointment among royal supporters, as she referred to “mothers”<\/strong><\/em> as “birthing people,”<\/strong><\/em> causing social media users to question her choice of words and how Kensington Palace approved this message to be published.<\/p>\n
