The four songwriters said they wrote and recorded \u201cOne of a Kind\u201d over that instrumental and sent it for consideration. They were later told the demo had not been selected. However, after \u201cHow Sweet\u201d was released four months later, they claimed they noticed parts that sounded similar to the work they had made for the then quintet.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Spotify Embed: How Sweet\" style=\"border-radius: 12px\" width=\"100%\" height=\"152\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/track\/38tXZcL1gZRfbqfOG0VMTH?si=ad6a76590f3743f7&amp;utm_source=oembed\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>In the lawsuit, the songwriters said the first verse of \u201cHow Sweet\u201d is similar to the first verse of their demo in both amount and quality. They also shared similar musical details, including 4\/4 meter, the key of B flat minor, and a topline with an eight-bar, 31-note melodic sequence. On May 9, 2026, HYBE\u2019s ADOR responded to the claims, saying they checked with BANA, the team responsible for composing and producing the song. According to ADOR, BANA\u2019s position is that no plagiarism took place.
