Before becoming a member of the royal family, Kate Middleton<\/strong> had many normal jobs<\/strong>, which helped shape her into the woman she is today.<\/p>\n

The Princess of Wales started her work life the summer before her admission to the University of St. Andrews; she worked for four months as a deckhand<\/strong> at the Ocean Village Marina in Southampton to earn money for college.<\/p>\n

Kate Middleton worked in days of up to 11 hours, working on boats and earning $75 per day, and according to her co-workers, she was “very professional… She was competent and confident but very unassuming.”<\/em><\/p>\n

During her appearance on the 2019 BBC special A Berry Royal Christmas, she mixed herself a mocktail and revealed that in college, she worked as a waitress<\/strong> to earn money and joked about her skill for that job: “I was terrible.”<\/em><\/p>\n
