Big Hit Music said on April 28, 2026, that the Commissioners Court of El Paso County approved a resolution giving all seven members the \u201cEstimado Amigo\u201d (Estimated Friend) honor. Officials credited the group with helping present El Paso as a major concert destination. They also noted that BTS\u2019 music often carries social messages and public values. ARMY, the group\u2019s official fandom, organized a campaign to light the \u201cStar on the Mountain\u201d in purple for seven days, from April 28 to May 4, 2026. The landmark had already been lit in red and white in January 2026 to celebrate the boy group\u2019s upcoming visit. Meanwhile, BTS began the North American leg of their \u201cARIRANG\u201d world tour on April 25, 2026, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
