BTS<\/strong> added another major international achievement with \u201cARIRANG<\/strong>,\u201d after the album received platinum certification in France. The milestone was confirmed by SNEP, France\u2019s music certification body. The news comes after the KPop juggernauts passed 100,000 equivalent sales with their latest project. That total includes physical sales, downloads, and streaming numbers, showing that the album performed strongly across several formats in the European country.<\/p>\n

The milestone makes \u201cARIRANG\u201d by BTS the fourth group album to go platinum in France. The boy band previously reached the same level of success with \u201cMap of the Soul: 7,\u201d \u201cProof,\u201d and \u201cLove Yourself: Answer.\u201d In addition, the certification came quite quickly, with \u201cARIRANG\u201d reaching platinum status just over a month after its release. The album had already been certified gold within six days, proving BTS\u2019 strong presence in the French market.<\/p>\n

BTS also continued to grow their record in Japan. In March 2026, the boy group\u2019s 2018 song \u201cLet Go,\u201d from the Japanese album \u201cFace Yourself,\u201d passed 100 million streams and earned platinum certification in the streaming category. With that result, BTS reached 17 platinum certifications in Japan, the highest total among KPop acts. Additionally, \u201cARIRGAN\u201d also passed 750,000 shipments in Japan within 11 days, reaching the triple platinum status in the country.<\/p>\n

Currently, the group is supporting the album with the \u201cARIRANG\u201d world tour, which will have 85 shows across 34 cities. The North American leg of their tour officially began on April 25, 2026, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. The 7-member team is scheduled to continue their run through Latin America, Europe, and Asia.
