The original game was released in February 2022 and quickly became one of the most-celebrated games of its generation. Directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki and based on a story written by<strong> George R. R. Martin<\/strong>, the video game introduced players to a dark fantasy world filled with wide landscapes, dungeons, and difficult battles. The game itself is based on a story written by George R. R. Martin, author of Song of Ice and Fire.
