The boy group opened their tour with three concerts at Goyang Stadium on April 9, April 11, and April 12, 2026. During performances of Like Animals, several attendees and online viewers said the large venue screens and live camera feeds had their focus on the other six members, especially during the outro. Clips from the shows quickly spread online, and many fans began complaining across different social media platforms. Several of them argued that Jin was either barely shown or not shown alone at all during key moments of the performance.

Social media reactions grow stronger

As more videos circulated, the discussion grew and became more organized. Fans asked the production team and the camera crew to give equal attention to all seven members during live broadcasts and on stage screens. However, many posts stated that the problem was not limited to one short section of Like Animals. According to viewers who attended the concerts or watched clips afterward, Jin appeared only briefly on the big screens across several parts of the whole concert. That sparked stronger criticism of the show’s camera work, with fans saying fair screen distribution is important at a BTS performance where each member has also built a strong fanbase and a clear role in the band. As a result, fans have taken to social media to post their own fan-focused videos with Jin.

260412 BTS ARIRANG GOYANG

Like Animals#BTS_WORLDTOUR_ARIRANG #BTS_WORLDTOUR_ARIRANG_GOYANG #방탄소년단진 #JIN #진 #BTS #BTS_ARIRANG pic.twitter.com/V8lS6V4HNt

— KONI (@btsforever1207) April 12, 2026

The issue appears during a major tour opening

The complaints gained attention during a very important moment for the group. These shows marked BTS’ first three ARIRANG concerts in Seoul, reportedly attracting about 132,000 fans in total, and featuring a 23-song setlist. The shows lasted around 2.5 hours and introduced the group’s new 360-degree stage format. Besides the songs from ARIRANG such as Hooligan, Like Animals, Swim, and 2.0, BTS also performed older hits, including Fake Love, Mic Drop, Permission to Dance, and Run BTS. After Seoul, the ARIRANG World Tour is expected to continue with a total of 85 shows across 34 countries, with concerned fans hoping the production team will respond to the criticism over the camera direction and Jin’s screen time before the next concerts begin.

Fans raise concerns after the Seoul shows Fans criticized the camera direction during BTS’ ARIRANG World Tour concerts in Seoul after noticing what they perceived as limited screen time for member Jin.
