The video opens in 1896 and shows seven young men gathered around a phonograph as the melody of \u201cArirang\u201d begins to play. The story then follows the men as they travel across the Pacific Ocean by ship and record the song in another country, where they share it with local listeners. Later, the animation translates to the present, showing BTS performing on stage in front of a crowd surrounded by purple lights. The label revealed that the project was designed to help global audiences understand the history behind the song and its emotional meaning. In addition, it was later explained that BTS wants audiences to learn about the lyrics and connect with the Korean feelings expressed through the music. Finally, the last video scene shows BTS standing in front of Gwanghwamun Square, representing the group\u2019s role in sharing Korean culture and history through music. The group will perform at the aforementioned venue on March 21, 2026 as part of<strong> BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE l ARIRANG<\/strong> on <strong>Netflix<\/strong>.
