Through a recent statement, it was announced that J.Y. Park<\/strong> will step down from his position as an internal director at JYP Entertainment<\/strong> and will focus on his artistic career.<\/p>\n

On March 10th, Korean media reports<\/a> shared JYP Entertainment’s official statement announcing the popular figure of the company will leave his role at the company\u2019s creative and directive board after its foundation 29 years ago.<\/p>\n

“J.Y. Park will not seek re-election as CEO at the shareholders’ meeting on March 26.<\/p>\n

He plans to focus on his creative activities as an artist, supporting emerging artists and developing new external initiatives for the K-pop industry.<\/p>\n

Since his debut in the music industry in 1994, Park has been active as a singer, songwriter, and producer and will continue his various initiatives within the K-pop industry.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/figure>\n \n
