Celeste Rivas Hernandez\u2019s decomposed and dismembered body was found around 10:30 a.m. on September 8, 2025, after the manager of a Hollywood tow company called the Los Angeles Police Department. The manager reported that a Tesla impounded since September 5, 2025, had a strong smell of decay that was attracting flies.<\/p>\n

After obtaining a search warrant, officers opened the vehicle’s front trunk and found a black cadaver bag covered in insects and emitting a strong odor. Detectives partially unzipped the bag and found a decomposed head and torso. Investigators and criminalists from the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner were called to the scene. When the bag was removed, authorities discovered that the arms and legs had been severed. A second black bag was found underneath with additional dismembered body parts. A citizen had first reported the Tesla abandoned on Bluebird Street on August 26, 2025.<\/p>\n
