In recent reports, cultural institutions in Seoul announce they will close their doors for BTS<\/strong>‘ comeback concert after more than three years of hiatus in his activities as a group.<\/p>\n

On March 21st the boy group will make their return to the stages with a big concert at the Gwanghwamun Square<\/strong> to celebrate the album release, which caused the museums, theaters, and other institutions surrounding the concert to announce schedule changes as a security measure.<\/p>\n

According to The Korean Times<\/a>, the National Museum of Contemporary History of Korea<\/strong> announced that due to the event, they will be closed that day, after considering security concerns related to the expected large crowds in the Gwanghwamun area.<\/p>\n

Sejong Center for the Performing Arts<\/strong> is also in talks about canceling scheduled performances and exhibitions; the musical “Anna Karenina,” originally set to be held at the Grand Theater<\/strong>, and the play “The Wasp” at the S Theater<\/strong> have been officially canceled.<\/p>\n

Although decisions are still pending regarding the Metropolitan Ballet<\/strong>‘s dance performance, the M Theater<\/strong>, and the Sejong Art Museum<\/strong>, it is expected that the BTS concert organizers will compensate<\/strong> the affected productions.<\/p>\n

Authorities are reportedly exploring opening parts of the complex to fans by allowing visitors access to selected spaces and services. Police estimate that the event could draw approximately 230,000 people<\/strong> between the main stage and Deoksu Palace and that this number could swell to approximately 260,000 people<\/strong> near Sungnyemun Gate.<\/p>\n
