In a new interview with Wonderland magazine, the Canadian-born actor spoke about his fast rise in popularity and the attention surrounding his on-screen partnership with co-star Connor Storrie, who plays Ilya Rozanov in the same show. Hudson explained that while their professional bond is strong, they prefer to keep their friendship private. Then, he emphasized that he and Connor want to build separate careers and individual creative paths.<\/p>\n

Hudson admitted he struggled to balance the high-fashion walks models do, finding it hard to combine with the playful tone of Dsquared2.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was trying to [channel] models who do high fashion, the stiff, robot walk. But then Dsquared2 is a fun show where you’re meant to swag it up. And I was like, I could have swagged it up. I could have walked with umph. So anyway\u2026\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/figure>\n \n

Staying grounded outside the spotlight<\/h2>\n

Hudson Williams also talked about how he avoids becoming too absorbed in celebrity culture. Living in Vancouver allows him to focus on reading, watching films, and finding inspiration.
