Publicizing his new album, Ed Sheeran<\/strong> told in an interview that he grew up thinking he was gay<\/strong>. According to Ed, he never felt \u201cvery masculine<\/strong><\/em>\u201d and that’s why he was suspicious of his sexuality.<\/p>\n

\u201cI definitely had a feminine side, to the point where I thought I was gay when I was a boy. I have a big girly side, definitely. I love musical theater, I love pop music, I love Britney Spears. My male side probably stops drinking beer and watching footbal<\/strong><\/em>l\u201d, he declared.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/figure>\n \n

The interview spoke a lot about these stereotypes<\/strong> of masculinity and femininity. Ed Sheeran said he is not a car enthusiast, as his friends see.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s nice to have a car, but I’m not a car freak<\/strong><\/em>\u201d he said. As for football, he said he prefers matches between women’s teams.<\/p>\n

\u201cI watched it and I was like: ‘I don’t know why I watch men’s football, this is much better<\/strong><\/em>\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy wife is super pro-women and femininity. As soon as we started to stay, my life changed. She plays on a women’s hockey team. We left with the whole team. It’s a lot of female empowerment<\/strong><\/em>\u201d, she defined.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/figure>\n \n
