That\u2019s why the idol\u2019s music agency has hired a legal team to defend him against defamatory comments and malicious online activity.<\/p>\n

On October 17 KST, G-Dragon’s management label Galaxy Corporation issued a new statement regarding legal action<\/strong> against defamatory and malicious online activity targeting the musician, as they are working in cooperation with Yulchon LLC, one of Korea\u2019s leading law firms.<\/p>\n

They have stated that they have been collecting reports and evidence during September. On October 15 KST, they formally filed criminal complaints against multiple individuals for violations of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, on charges of defamation<\/strong>. \n\u201cOur legal response focuses primarily on serious offenses, including defamation through false statements, rather than simple insults, to ensure that meaningful legal consequences follow.<\/p>\n

We continue to carefully review additional cases and submit them to investigative authorities on an ongoing basis.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/figure>\n \n

Moving forward, Galaxy Corporation will continue to cooperate with law enforcement to identify individuals who spread malicious posts or defamatory statements under anonymous or pseudonymous identities.<\/p>\n

Legal actions will be taken sequentially against those identified on major platforms and online communities, including DC Inside, Daum Cafe, X (formerly Twitter), Nate Pann, FM Korea, and Naver.<\/p>\n

Due to requests from investigative authorities and in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act, we are unable to disclose specific details regarding ongoing investigations or the identities of suspects.<\/p>\n
