It featured a similar style and sound to the artist\u2019s earlier music, specifically the \u201cControversy\u201d album era. In addition, D\u2019Angelo can be heard emulating Prince\u2019s iconic falsetto, one of his most recognizable vocal mannerisms.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>An acclaimed era, song, and album<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cUntitled (How Does It Feel)\u201d earned a Grammy for Best Male R&amp;B Vocal Performance in 2001, proving the way critics and the Grammy voters received the song with open arms. The song\u2019s mother album, \u201cVoodoo,\u201d also achieved success at the ceremony with a win for Best R&amp;B album.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The video turned into a sensual pop culture moment<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The song\u2019s music video burned itself into pop culture\u2019s memory, thanks to its steamy moments and sensuality. Directed by Paul Hunter and D\u2019Angelo\u2019s manager Dominique Trenier, the video presented D\u2019Angelo standing seemingly naked against a black backdrop as he lip-synced every line.
