Aespa&#8217;s <strong>Giselle<\/strong> has been involved in a controversy after netizens claimed that she lip-synced an offensive word for the Afro-descendant community.<\/p>\n<p>At the beginning of October of this year, Aespa made a comeback with their first album and title track \u2018<strong>Savage<\/strong>\u2019, the success of the girls was reflected in their streams on digital platforms. <strong>SM Entertainment<\/strong> posted a special video on YouTube with behind the scenes of the photoshoots for the project, each of the members had their space and at the end group images were taken.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\">\n        <blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"und\" dir=\"ltr\">\u2026 <\/p>\n<p>&mdash; rayne (@flrtyvs) <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n        <\/figure>\n        \n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The controversy came when viewers accused Aespa&#8217;s Giselle of lip-syncing a word offensive to the Afro-descendant community. During the photo shoots, the staff used to play songs to make the models feel more relaxed, so the <strong>Aespa<\/strong> girls danced and sang with each take.<\/p>\n<p> <strong><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In an excerpt from the clip, Aespa&#8217;s Giselle was singing &#8216;<strong>Love Galore<\/strong>&#8216; by <strong>SZA<\/strong> and allegedly lip syncing the N-word, many captured the moment and shared it on social media, where the community started a debate.
