But before fans could start celebrating the reveal, a company rep poured some cold water on their dreams, clarifying that follow-up seasons are still under review. Unfortunately for fans, they won\u2019t be able to binge-watch just yet!<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\">\n        <blockquote><p>\u00a0\u201cWe\u2019re grateful for the interest in \u2018The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call.\u2019 Follow-up seasons are currently under review, but nothing has been confirmed yet,\u201d the rep unveiled.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n        <\/figure>\n        \n<p>The drama, which premiered in January 2025, follows <strong>Baek Kang Hyuk<\/strong>, played by <strong>Ju Ji Hoon<\/strong>, a genius surgeon with a military background who brings a defunct trauma care team back to life. The show quickly became a smash hit in South Korea and abroad, winning Ju Ji Hoon Best Actor at the Baeksang Arts Awards in May.
