American radio<\/strong> didn’t buy into the idea of \u200b\u200b\u201cFearless (Taylor’s Version)<\/strong>\u201d Taylor Swift<\/strong>‘s re-recorded album. Billboard published a report this Friday, October 22nd, showing that radio stations do not care about the singer’s new project.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love Taylor Swift. I love her songs. I just don’t think we need re- records<\/strong><\/em>\u201d says Julie Stevens, programming director for country radio 95.3 KRTY in San Jos\u00e9, California.<\/p>\n

\u201cKRTY likes to focus on new material, and that’s not really new. This is something old, actually<\/em><\/strong>\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/figure>\n \n

Most programmers surveyed by Billboard believe that the public is not able to notice the differences between the original and updated versions<\/strong> of the songs. So it doesn’t make sense to play them. Some program directors said they didn’t even think about playing. It wasn’t an issue. It would be like playing old<\/strong> songs.<\/p>\n
