In the latest <strong>Above The Influence<\/strong> episode, a guest named <strong>Kira<\/strong> claimed that certain K-pop stars have pricy\u00a0 \u201carrangements\u201d with wealthy men. She then brought up IU\u2019s name, saying that spending one night with the singer could allegedly cost $500,000.<\/p>\n<p>Kira, who claimed to be <strong>BIGBANG T.O.P&#8217;s ex-girlfriend<\/strong>, offered no evidence for her speculations. She didn\u2019t accuse IU of participating in these alleged deals directly, but casually using IU\u2019s name as a \u201cpricing example\u201d instantly lit a firestorm online. They flooded social media demanding <strong>EDAM Entertainment<\/strong> take legal action to protect IU\u2019s name. Many pointed out how damaging even speculative gossip can be when it targets real people, especially in the conservative world of K-pop.
