However, actions are heavier than words and he is currently under fire for his latest decision to travel to Scotland.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Monarch of the United Kingdom has sparked accusations of climate hypocrisy after taking an 11-minute helicopter ride to visit a food bank in Scotland<\/strong>. However, he decided to use his \u00a36 million helicopter to go to Scotland, and then he returned home by helicopter.<\/p>\n<p>Adding to the controversy, flight logs revealed that the chopper had made a<strong> 684-mile round trip<\/strong> from an RAF base in London to Scotland and back. This resulted in a total carbon footprint of <strong>4.6 tonnes<\/strong>.
