The first two films, launched in February 2020 and April 2022, grossed a combined $725.2 million. Then, Sonic 3 raced onto screens on December 20 (in the United States) and December 25 (internationally), adding $312 million more for a running total of over $1.037 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Besides tickets, the franchise has scored major wins in home entertainment, raking in $181 million from rentals and purchases of the first two films. Last April, <strong>Paramount+<\/strong> premiered the Knuckles spinoff series, pulling in 11 million viewing hours in its first 28 days.
