The full trailer was shown for the first time yesterday, November 21, 2024, in United States theaters in front of the Wicked movie. This film, scheduled for a 2025 release, will give a new take on the 1937 animated classic with a script by Greta Gerwig (Barbie) and Erin Cressida Wilson, and stars <strong>Rachel Zegler<\/strong> (West Side Story) as Snow White and <strong>Gal Gadot<\/strong> (Wonder Woman) as the Evil Queen.<\/p>\n<p>While the plot stays close to the original, this Snow White will not play into the damsel-waiting-for-a-prince role. In this upcoming version, she&#8217;s an independent 18-year-old, whose main qualities are resilience and strength.\u00a0 The movie is set to feature both songs from the original film and brand-new tracks by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, who worked in La La Land and The Greatest Showman.<\/p>\n<p>Originally set for March 22, 2024, <strong>the release has been delayed to March 21, 2025<\/strong>, due to the SAG-AFTRA strike.
