Following an audit held on October 11th, it was revealed that BTS<\/strong>‘ Suga<\/strong> avoids disciplinary consequences following his drunk driving case due to his status as a public service worker.<\/p>\n

Kim Jong Chul<\/strong>, the commissioner of the Military Manpower Administration<\/strong> (MMA), said during the audit of the National Defense Committee<\/strong> at the National Assembly that since the idol is currently serving his service, the ‘crime’ committed by him is judged under different parameters.<\/p>\n

“I don’t think it’s entirely appropriate that he wasn’t disciplined, but we are providing education and guidance<\/strong><\/em>“, the commissioner said, assuring that in the process of fulfilling his military service<\/strong>, Suga is being well instructed, and when he comes out as a civilian, he will be an exemplary citizen, so there is no need for him to be disciplined by any authority outside the military.<\/p>\n

However, the rapper also acknowledged that what he did was wrong, assuring everyone that he would never drive a skateboard drunk again, and although he had been fined KRW 15 million<\/strong> for violating the law, his current status as a public service worker exempts him from such punishment.<\/p>\n
