Jesy Nelson<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0seems to\u00a0have no fond memories of the nearly 10 years she spent being a part of Little Mix.\u00a0She left the group in December 2020, leaving fellow members\u00a0<\/span>Perrie Edwards<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0,\u00a0<\/span>Leigh-Anne Pinnock,<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Jade Thirlwall<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0as a trio.\u00a0In a recent interview with the Reign With Josh Smith podcast, she was very candid about her time in the group, admitting she wasn’t happy.

”\u00a0<\/span>I had moments and moments where I really loved it, but it seemed like there were many more times when I was sad than happy,<\/span><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0” he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c\u00a0<\/span>I don’t think people realize how difficult it is to be in a girl band.\u00a0There are many things that people do not know.<\/p>\n

\u00a0And obviously I can’t make my own decisions.\u00a0Three people also have to agree, so there will always be disagreements about certain things<\/span><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0. “<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c\u00a0<\/span>I feel like a lot of people think it’s selfish for me to leave the group.\u00a0They were ten years of my life in which I was very unhappy and I needed to get out of that and really do what would make me happy,<\/span><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0“he explained.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/figure>\n \n

Another complaint from Jesy was that\u00a0<\/span>Little Mix<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0was like a machine.\u00a0So things were always programmed for her, including her personal life.<\/p>\n

\u00a0So she couldn’t make her own\u00a0<\/span>decisions<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0.\u00a0Jesy Nelson risks a lot of people getting mad at her and not understanding her, but she was doing her best for her own life.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome people may not understand this, but you live once and you have to do what makes you happy.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Being in Little Mix is \u200b\u200bliterally like a machine.<\/p>\n

\u00a0You have no free time.\u00a0You cannot hang up.\u00a0Even when you go home, your phone rings constantly to go to work and your life is planned,<\/span><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0\u201dhe snapped.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/figure>\n \n

There are even reports that Jesy Nelson had\u00a0<\/span>anxiety<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0attacks\u00a0while working with Little Mix, which was one of the main reasons for her departure.\u00a0He is currently working on his first\u00a0<\/span>solo<\/span><\/strong> release.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
