The song was released on streaming services at 1:00 a. () <\/p>\n<p>m. along with a video with the official lyrics on Coldplay&#8217;s YouTube channel.<\/p>\n<p>Almost 500,000 people watched the premiere, while thousands of fans flooded the live chat with messages and emoticons.<br \/>C<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;My Universe&#8221; will be part of Coldplay&#8217;s ninth album, titled &#8220;<strong>Music of the Spheres<\/strong>&#8220;, which will be released on October 15th.<\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Coldplay X BTS - My Universe (Official Lyric Video)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/bZYPI4mYwhw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>The soft pop dance track, with Korean and English lyrics, was co-written by the two groups and produced by hitmaker Max Martin. &#8220;<em><strong>You, you are \/ My universe \/ And I just want to put you first \/ And you, you are \/ My Universe \/ And you make my world light up inside<\/strong><\/em>,&#8221; says the chorus of the romantic song.<\/p>\n<p>True to the title, the song plays dreamy sounds that seem to come from outer space and adds a bit of rap in Korean.<\/p>\n<p> The expectation for &#8220;<strong>My Universe<\/strong>&#8221; was high for months, after rumors began to circulate of a possible collaboration between the two bands.<\/p>\n<p> <strong><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The song&#8217;s release was officially announced earlier this month, and video clips of BTS and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin were released later, performing music together in a <strong>Seoul studio<\/strong>. The videos supported eyewitness accounts that Martin had been seen in South Korea in April.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Increasing the anticipation before the song&#8217;s release, the 11 members of the two bands met in New York this week during BTS&#8217; visit to the<strong> UN General Assembly<\/strong> as a special presidential envoy. Both bands posted a group photo on their Twitter accounts on Thursday, and Coldplay members were seen wearing a modified &#8220;<strong>hanbok<\/strong>.&#8221; The &#8220;hanbok&#8221; is the traditional Korean garb.<\/p>\n<p>Also this month, BTS and Chris Martin appeared on the YouTube music show &#8220;<strong>RELEASED<\/strong>&#8221; together, to have a frank talk on various topics, including what it means to be famous.
