BTS<\/strong>\u2019 Jungkook<\/strong> has been the talk of the town for all the wrong and right reasons. The idol was highly praised for releasing his new documentary, \u201cJUNG KOOK: I AM STILL\u201d in theaters. However, the hype was stifled by the current controversy of the idol\u2019s latest post allegedly supporting NewJeans.<\/p>\n

On September 18, the Golden Maknae brought a heartfelt journey with no return for his fans, better known as ARMY. The idol opened to show how he prepared for the release of his debut album, \u201cGOLDEN\u201d<\/em> back in November 2023 which received great reviews from the critics. However, ARMY noticed something unusual.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Previous to \u201cGOLDEN,\u201d<\/em> Jungkook released \u201cNever Let Go\u201d<\/em> as a tribute to fans. The song was released as part of BTS\u2019 11th anniversary event, \u201c2024 BTS FESTA\u201d<\/em> However, during the credits of the documentary, the song was credited to BTS, rather than Jungkook<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

ARMY immediately showed their discontent<\/strong> and called out on social media, pointing out that HYBE might be hindering the success of the documentary for not crediting rightfully Jungkook in \u201dNever Let Go.\u201d\u00a0<\/em> The criticism garnered attention just days after HYBE was accused of targeting Jungkook for supporting NewJeans amid the controversy.<\/p>\n
