In his latest memoir book, James Middleton<\/strong>, Kate Middleton<\/strong>‘s brother, revealed his first impressions of Prince William<\/strong> upon learning that he was dating his sister and how his dog helped him.<\/p>\n

In the book, titled ‘Meet Ella: The Dog Who Saved My Life<\/strong>‘, James wrote that he was fond of the prince, adding, “But I remember putting him through his paces when we first met<\/strong><\/em>“, as he thought, “Did he deserve my sister? He had to earn my trust<\/strong><\/em>“, he wanted to make sure that the royal’s intentions with Kate were pure.<\/p>\n

“William has been in our lives for so long, and we’ve grown very fond of him<\/strong><\/em>“, James confessed and added. “It helped of course that William was so genuinely fond of Ella. When he first encountered her as a tiny puppy at Bucklebury<\/strong><\/em>“, assuring that the prince’s love for ‘Ella’ made the brother of the current Princess of Wales trust him.<\/p>\n
