However, the idol\u2019s success almost didn\u2019t happen after he revealed he wanted to quit being an idol.<\/p>\n<p>Since GOT7 left JYP Entertainment, Jinyoung wanted to<strong> focus<\/strong> in his acting career, starring K-dramas such as,<em> \u201cThe Devil Judge,\u201d \u201cYumi\u2019s Cells,\u201d<\/em> and Neflix\u2019s film, <em>\u201cYaksha: Ruthless Operations.\u201d<\/em> Ultimately, the idol opened his heart to GQ Australia to talk about his journey as an idol.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-123011\" src=\"https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/the-idol-didnt-like-his-personality-.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"500\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/the-idol-didnt-like-his-personality-.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/the-idol-didnt-like-his-personality--300x188.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/the-idol-didnt-like-his-personality--768x480.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The idol confessed he had a major personal view internally, he was quiet and stern despite GOT7&#8217;s reputation of being talkative and chaotic. <strong>He even confessed that some members of the boy band were <em>\u201cuncomfortable\u201d<\/em> around him<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor Glasby, a journalist who spent a week with GOT7 while they prepared for their iconic 2022 comeback wanted to share his insights. The reporter explained that the idol wanted to <strong>quit<\/strong> his career because he didn\u2019t feel comfortable.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\">\n        <blockquote><p>\u201cJinyoung was <strong>unhappy<\/strong>, he estimates, 60-70% of the time. It even caused him to consider leaving the entertainment industry. Still, he chose to stay. He wanted to leave the industry but stayed knowing how much people believed in him \u2014 his fans, family, his members.
