The monarch has strived to distance the royalty from previous scandals involving his dad, Juan Carlos<\/strong>. And now, he’s achieved an approval rating of 6.6 out of 10, making King Felipe Vl a leader above political party leaders.<\/p>\n

But surprises don’t stop there! The King’s eldest daughter, Princess Leonor<\/strong>, matched dad’s popularity with a 6.6 approval rating. The poll, made by IMOP Insights for the online newspaper El Confidencia, highlights a stark contrast with King Juan Carlos, who scored a poor 2.9 amid investigations for alleged financial misconduct.<\/p>\n

It looks like the favorable rating derives from King Felipe IV’s following decisions: removing Juan Carlos from the royal payroll, and denying any financial inheritance linked to his father’s offshore accounts. Additionally, he took away his sister Cristina<\/strong>\u2019s duchess title following her tax fraud trial, although she was acquitted.<\/p>\n
