And my grandmother is from Leulumoega Tuai on the main island of \u2018Upolu in Samoa. The actor, also known as The Rock, is also producing the film in collaboration with <strong>Lin-Manuel Miranda<\/strong>, who has also worked on &#8220;Hamilton&#8221; and &#8220;Encanto.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>This live-action adaptation is set to release in July 2026.<\/strong> Similarly, &#8220;<em><strong>Moana 2,<\/strong><\/em>&#8221; the sequel to the animated version, will premiere on November 27, 2024.
