Melon<\/strong> has released his full list of the 100 greatest K-pop songs of all time!<\/strong><\/p>\n

To sum up the past three decades of K-pop, Melon, Korea’s<\/strong> largest music streaming service, enlisted the help of 35 music critics and industry experts. Each of the 35 judges was first asked to come up with their own individual list of what they considered the 100 greatest K-pop songs of all time and those 35 lists were used to create Melon’s final list of the 100 greatest. The 35 judges were asked to choose their lists of 100 songs based on the following four criteria: importance (the influence of a song both in Korea and abroad, its mark on the growth of K-pop, and its musical uniqueness and creative boldness), success (the main appeal of a song, its popularity both in Korea and abroad, and its fandom), artistic quality (the artistic creativity of a song and the quality level of the music), and performance ( choreography, music video, and theatrical performances of a song).<\/p>\n
