This acceptance led to a clear plan: if she hadn&#8217;t met her other half by 35, she would adopt.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\">\n        <blockquote><p>&#8220;A lot of people are afraid of being alone, and I probably tortured myself in my head for like two years being alone, and then I kind of accepted it. Then I came up with my plan, which was, I was going to adopt at 35 if I had not met anyone.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n        <\/figure>\n        \n<p>But boom! Life had other plans for the &#8220;Same Old Love&#8221; hitmaker and she met music producer and songwriter <strong>Benny Blanco<\/strong>. The two lovebirds met during a casual encounter at a birthday party, changing plans for both of their loves. Their relationship was made public in December 2023, after Selena commented on several Instagram posts confirming their romance.<\/p>\n<p>While Selena&#8217;s initial plans suffered a major switch-up is evident that both of them are open to building a family together, as the producer recently confessed on <strong>The Howard Stern Show<\/strong>.
