Cinema lovers have had quite a busy weekend with Zendaya<\/strong>‘s highly anticipated film “Challengers<\/strong><\/em>,” and Ryan Gosling<\/strong>‘s “The Fall Guy<\/strong><\/em>.” But it looks like Europeans already got their favorite film, and let’s say results don’t favor sports and love triangles at all…<\/p>\n

Despite a hefty promotional blitz, the box office didn’t light up as expected for Zendaya’s film<\/strong>. Insted, Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt’s stunt-filled move, “The Fall Guy,” took the main role. Similarly, lesser-promoted films like “Dragonkeeper” and “Civil War” captured more audiences than “Challengers.”<\/p>\n

For example, in Spain alone, Ryan Gosling’s flick took the lead with a whopping \u20ac904,900 on its opening, towering over the \u20ac283,987 average pulled by Zendaya’s film, co-starring Mike Fasit<\/strong> and Josh O\u2019Connor<\/strong>, which landed in fifth place. This poses a huge contrast to the United States, where the former Disney star made a bigger splash with her flick.<\/p>\n
