BTS member V is once again showing his strong global popularity as his “Velvet Red” LP version of ARIRANG keeps selling well in several countries. On March 17, 2026, reports said the vinyl variant ranked #1 in the vinyl category at Fnac, one of the largest retail chains in France. Other versions of the upcoming BTS album, including the B&W and Color Deluxe editions, also placed in the top 10 for the best-selling vinyl in that list.
BTS’s fifth full-length album ARIRANG will be released on March 20, 2026, after global pre-orders began in January 2026. Among the member versions, V’s LP has stood out with repeated sellouts. In the United States, that variant sold out at Target and quickly went out of stock again on Weverse US Shop after being restocked. In Japan, it became the only member version to enter both the “Bestseller” and “Hot New Release” categories on Amazon Japan. It also sold out on Rakuten and took the top spots on Qoo10.
In South Korea, the LP reached #1 on Naver Store’s weekly bestseller chart based on only one day of pre-orders. Across South Korea, the United States, France, and Japan, the vinyl has continued to show strong pre-order sales and sellouts. Finally, BTS will officially release ARIRANG on March 20, 2026, accompanied by the title track SWIM. They will also have a comeback performance at Gwanghwamun Square on March 21, 2026, which can be streamed on Netflix.
