After TWICE‘s breathtaking debut at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show, the member Tzuyu apologizes to fans after receiving criticism for her live voice on social networks.
Nayeon, Momo, Jihyo, and Tzuyu from the girl group teamed up for an incredible performance at the iconic fashion show, performing their songs ‘Strategy‘ and ‘This Is For‘ while models walked the runway with their signature angel wings.
However, some Internet users reacted by expressing their dissatisfaction with the live vocals, particularly in the parts of the youngest member of the girl group: “They sounded terrible bro 😭😭”, “tzuyu was struggling man 😭”, “Tzuyu deserves a hug 🥺”, “i love twice but tonight was not it…”.
A few hours later, Tzuyu chats with her fans through Bubble, apologizing and explaining the reason behind her troubles singing: “ONCE, I’m sorry”, she started and continued:
“Before coming to New York, I warmed up my throat with my vocal teacher, but after arriving in New York, my throat got worse and worse… During rehearsal my voice was still good, but it got worse during the actual performance and I couldn’t make sound because I had phlegm in my throat ㅠ”
“So even though I drank honey tea and did a lot of things because my throat hurts..”
“I’ll show you a better performance next time!”, concluded the singer.
