The worst albums of 2021 according to specialized critics

So far, many albums have been released in the first seven months of the year, and the Metacritic website allows you to see the decisions that have received the worst criticism from specialized critics. Names like Maroon 5, Justin Bieber, and Zayn received low marks on their latest releases.

Maroon 5’s “Jordi” is the album with the worst critical rating in 2021 so far. The album has had no positive reviews since its release. Rolling Stone wrote that the album adds nothing on the level of “Sugar” or “Moves Like Jagger”, and Pitchfork has posted that “the most you can expect from Maroon 5 is oblivion.”

Justin Bieber’s album “Justice” was not sacrificed like this and garnered many positive reviews. But, after all, he was still among the worst evaluated. The Guardian newspaper gave the album a single star, disapproving of the use of Martin Luther King’s speech in an album that basically talks about love for his wife.

Zayn is a case similar to Bieber. His album “Nobody is Listening” mixed positive and regular reviews, but the final note was no big deal. The Telegraph newspaper reported that it is difficult to find traces of Zayn on the album, although the singer insists that it is his most personal work to date.
