The leader continued assuring that since the rapper started running, “Yoongi hyung said he wanted to run a marathon,” and “he actually went and did it.” They revealed the idol went to the marathon in the morning before one of their concerts in Stanford.

J-Hope talked with admiration about what his member did: “On the day of the concert, in the morning, he woke up at 6:00 AM. Apparently, there was a really famous marathon happening around that area, so he went to do it, and it was over 10 km…”

Later, fans find out from photos and videos of the event that Suga attended the Bay of Breakers 2026 Marathon, which took place on Sunday, May 17, in San Francisco for a route that covered 12 km, drawing thousands of runners, costumed participants, and a festival atmosphere.

The real reason why Suga limped in the recent concert is revealed

On social networks, fans shared the images and expressed their admiration and support for the BTS member’s new passion for running. Additionally, Jimin confirmed that this marathon was the reason the rapper was spotted limping during that night’s concert:

“That hyung… that’s why I told him not to go (…) but hyung didn’t show it in his attitude, but when we went up for encore, his leg was (like limping), so I was like (picking on him).”
