During a recent livestream, Stray Kids‘ Hyunjin explains his vision problem to fans, revealing he has had a unique eyesight condition since he was a child.
On April 18, the K-Pop idol went live through his official Instagram account to interact with fans and answer their questions about him, his opinions and preferences, his bond with his members and colleagues in the industry, and more.
Amid this talk, Hyunjin was asked about the difference between his eyes’ vision, and he opened up about his condition, giving fans a demonstration of how one of his eyes is completely blurry.
“My eyesight has been like this since I was little. My right eye has always had good vision, but the left one is pretty bad. So if I do this… it gets a bit blurry. If I do it like this, it’s like only this side looks blurry…”

The Stray Kids member covered his right eye and revealed that only with the left one he sees blurry; he assured his fans that despite this issue, “my vision isn’t that bad, so normally I can see just fine,” which would explain why he does not use his glasses more often.
