Recent reports revealed that Stray Kids‘ member Changbin has reportedly purchased a luxury apartment at the Apgujeong Hyundai urbanization for $6.3M in cash.
According to Naver, the rapper purchased a 198-square-meter apartment in the Hyundai Apartments (Hyundai 1st & 2nd) in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, for 9.4 billion won, approximately $6.3M, last February.
Hyundai 1st & 2nd is a residential project located in Zone 3 of the Apgujeong redevelopment area, which is currently being rebuilt as a large complex consisting of 30 buildings, some up to 65 stories high, and approximately 5,000 apartments.
According to court records, no separate mortgage was established, so it appears the purchase price was made entirely in cash.
A source from the sector told the media that “I understand he bought a unit on a top floor in a luxury building with panoramic views of the Han River.” The source concluded, “While the reconstruction will take a long time, it seems he made an investment with the future in mind.”
