Prince William has revealed he still has a passion for motorcycles, although he now enjoys his hobby more discreetly. During a visit to Norfolk Blood Bikes on June 11, the Prince of Wales opened up about his longtime interest in riding. While looking over the volunteer organization’s motorcycles, the 43-year-old royal admitted, “I love bikes,” before adding that he still rides “now and again, quietly.” He also joked that a disguise helps him keep a low profile while enjoying his long-time hobby.
The Prince of Wales’ visit highlights the work of Norfolk Blood Bikes, a volunteer service that transports urgent medical supplies, including blood, vaccines, and laboratory samples, to hospitals throughout Norfolk. The organization serves communities near Anmer Hall, the country home of Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton. The royal couple previously donated funds for a new car in 2025, which was named “Prince William.” The Prince officially unveiled the vehicle during his visit and praised the group’s contribution to local healthcare services.

Even though Prince William has long loved motorcycles, Princess Kate Middleton has always been concerned about the risks involved. In 2015, she admitted that his rides filled her with “horror” and said she hoped to keep Prince George away from the pastime. Since becoming a father of three, the Prince of Wales has shared that he is now more cautious. But regardless of fatherhood, his need for speed remains through motorcycles or even electric scooters around royal residences.
