Prince Harry reportedly left off guest list for Peter Phillips’ wedding as Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton attend

The Duke of Sussex was reportedly not invited to his cousin’s private wedding ceremony

Prince Harry’s absence draws attention to recent royal wedding

Prince Harry was reportedly not invited to the wedding of his cousin Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling on June 6, 2026, according to reports published ahead of the ceremony. While the Duke of Sussex was absent from the event, Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton were among the royal family members who attended the private celebration at All Saints Church in Kemble, Gloucestershire, in the Cotswolds region of England.

Other guests included King Charles and Queen Camilla, Princess Anne and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, and Zara and Mike Tindall. Peter, the eldest grandchild of the late Queen Elizabeth II, married Harriet Sperling, a National Health Service nurse, in an event that was described as an intimate gathering with close family members and friends.

The Duke of Sussex was reportedly not invited after losing touch

Peter Phillips and Prince Harry grew up together alongside Prince William, sharing family holidays, public appearances, and royal family milestones. However, reports indicated that Harry was not included on the guest list for the wedding. According to Hello! magazine, a friend of the couple said Peter and Harry had not spoken for several years and had simply lost touch.

“Peter and Harry haven’t spoken for several years and have simply lost touch, so he hasn’t been invited,” the friend said.

Since leaving the British monarchy in January 2020, Harry has lived in California with Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The same reports also affirmed that the former Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson were not invited. According to a friend of the bride and groom, the inclusion of the Duke and Duchess of York’s in the wedding could be a “distraction,” due to their connection to Jeffrey Epstein.
