In recent reports, Prince Harry‘s and Prince William‘s former private secretary opened up on the royal feud, sharing his optimism about the bond between the two sons of King Charles III.
On June 22nd, Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton gave an interview to The Times where he talked about his life as the private secretary to the Prince and Princess of Wales and the Duke of Sussex as he transitions into public life while promoting his new book, ‘Beyond the Edge of Light.’
When he was asked about Prince Harry and Prince William’s rift in their relationship and if there’s a possibility of reconciliation, he said with sincerity and diplomacy, “Do you know what? I think I’d better steer clear of that Harry issue.”
But Lowther-Pinkerton did say, “What I would say is that I was and am very fond of him. He has huge redeeming features, and I’m a perennial optimist,” expressing his positive point of view of the controversy surrounding the younger son of the monarch.
The 65-year-old former British army officer has been and is to this day a highly trusted confidant of the royal family since King Charles III’s sons were in their 20s; he even became the Godfather of William’s firstborn, Prince George.
