During their most recent public appearance, Prince George and Princess Charlotte get an exclusive tennis invitation from a Wimbledon star due to the great love of the royal family for this sport.
On July 12th, the young royals accompanied their mother, Kate Middleton, at the Wimbledon men’s final, where they met British tennis rising star Arthur Fery, congratulated him for reaching the semi-finals, and wished him a happy 24th birthday.
During that talk, the tennis player said to Prince George and Princess Charlotte, “If you guys want to hit some balls sometime, that would be great,” to which the Princess of Wales responded with gratitude for this sweet gesture.
Later, Fery told media outlets, “I know the whole family are all tennis fans, so I told her if her kids ever wanted to hit, I’m free,” and when he was asked if he thinks the royal family will accept his offer, he said, “Let’s see, I don’t know. Let’s see if I get the call up.”
Even if Prince George accepts the athlete’s offer, it wouldn’t be the first time the heir to the throne has played tennis with a professional, as Kate previously revealed that her son hit some balls with his favorite player, Roger Federer.
