During a recent interview, Niall Horan, former One Direction member, praised BTS‘ dancing and shared his thoughts about K-Pop structure and its difference with his boy group history.
In a conversation on Jake Shane’s ‘Therapuss‘ podcast, the Irish star was asked if he relates to K-Pop groups due to his boyband background. He sincerely replied that their complex choreographies, outfits, and intense routines make their experiences completely different.
Niall Horan continues saying that for him, every generation of boy groups and boy bands is kind of different. About the K-Pop, he said it is more “structured” and that the idols “look like athletes,” and then he remembers and recognizes BTS’s hard dance choreographies.
“When you watch BTS dance, you’re like, ‘Honestly, I have no idea how to do anything you’re doing, but it’s kind of crazy what you’re doing’ It’s like, It’s pretty intense, but it’s amazing.”
