NewJeans marked a complete generation with their incredible songs. Despite the girls being embroiled in a major legal feud, the fans are still supporting them and helping them reach milestones on different streaming platforms, including Spotify.
On April 3 KST, Spotify wanted to share a marvelous announcement with all the Kpop fans, after “Ditto,” a track from NewJeans’ single album, “OMG,” reached the iconic milestone of 900 million streams on April 1, becoming the second song from the group to exceed this mark.
“Ditto” was originally released on December 19, 2022, which means the song took 3 years, 3 months, 13 days to reach this impressive milestone. At the time of its release, the song entered both the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and the UK Official Singles Top 100.
NewJeans is still one of the most talked-about artists in the Kpop scene despite not being active right now. The girls are set to make a comeback without one of the members, Danielle, in the next few months. Stay tuned for further news on the idols.
