NCT’s Doyoung’s heartfelt acts continue even while serving in the South Korean military. The idol has celebrated his birthday by helping the young people in need with a generous donation.
On January 30, the Non-governmental organization, World Vision, announced that the idol has donated approximately $70,000 to help support young people preparing to become self-reliant, one of the most significant moments in anyone’s life.
Doyoung’s donation relies on the difficult situation of young people who need support even after their legal protections end. That’s why he hopes this donation helps these young people lay a foundation on which they can build their own independent lives. World Vision’s CEO, Cho Myung Hwan, commented on the heartfelt donation:
“Even during his military service, Doyoung sent us his precious feelings [by donating], and we would like to thank him for his sincere donation. We will do our utmost to ensure that his donation leads to tangible changes in the lives of young people preparing for independence.”
