NCT WISH officially debuted as an NCT subunit on February 21, 2024, as part of the SM Entertainment music agency. Since then, the idols have presented marvelous concepts to the audience, but the latest one hit the nail on the head as they broke their personal first-week sales records.
Recently, NCT WISH made their iconic comeback with their first full-length album, “Ode to Love,” on April 20. By the end of the day, “Ode to Love” had already sold over 1.2 million copies, making it NCT WISH’s first album ever to surpass 1 million first-day sales.
The Hanteo Chart reported that NCT WISH’s latest album sold an impressive total of 1,825,925 copies in the first week of its release, breaking their previous first-week sales record of 1,395,217 set by their mini album “COLOR” last year.
In addition, the title track, “Ode to Love,” has reached No. 3 on Melon’s Top 100, marking a new career high for the group on the charts. Congratulations to NCT WISH for having such an amazing week!
